Are the game and its interface/controls easy to figure out?

Was it easy to figure out how to play and how to use the interface/controls? What was the most difficult? What would you have improved?

I'm not the certain person to read rules (I promptly disabled the tutorial), and I did find this game very intuative and consider the interface extremly nice and smooth (even on my netbook). It took me a couple of (unsuccessful) games to get used to numbers, but it was fun even when I had no-idea what I was doing. Reading the tutorial would probably have helped, but even so, great fun and very nice, no complaints.

Make unit creation easier then clicking on each individual city and selecting troops.

Well i started playing years ago when it was really simple, but i have a hard time teaching my friends how to play.

I struggled my first few games tbh, even after tutorial I was still semi mind boggled you can say.

I would really like a (build all of these units) button and a unbuild all these units cause i'm lazy and don't feel like holding my finger down anymore.

also, the ability to set auto produce naval units in countries that has 1 or more land only city (instead of having to change every city) it would change it for the cities that are naval and would ignore land cities.

I recruited a friend who told me that the tutorial was not in depth and helpful, he claimed it should be improved as he can't seem to win a game.

Tutorial seems a bit hard at first, but I think that it is pretty straightforward, though it does seem too dry and a bit too complicated, most people will not even read throughout it and I believe there should be a simpler version of it.

Either way, he would of understood it better if you were to explain it to him along the way just like I've taught you, young one <3
But, the only reason he can play now is thanks to your guidance and support shown for him.

I think this game is easy too learnbut hard too master

I don't get the pop-up buttons when I hover over a stack or city....yet I see ss and videos showing the same. Does it not work in Chrome browser for Mac?
Even with the tutorial it took me some time to puzzle everything out. Making the tutorial more comprehensive would be awesome.
Other than that, most of the time goes in clicking on cities to build units. Even setting autoproduction is pretty lengthy. Especially in games below 2 mins. A solution to this?
Even if these problems aren't solved, I'd still play though. They aren't a turn off.
