I would really enjoy some form of psychological warfare in this game. Not sure how that could be accomplished, but perhaps deception would be feasible. Just as we have the feature/upgrade to go incognito, a feature to fake my stats would be interesting. Not sure how other users play, but the first thing I do before deciding who I ally with, who I attack, and how I attack, is gather as much intel as I can by looking at the stats of each player. It would add a whole new twist if I had to wonder if these are the players actual stats or not. In order to keep the excitement in wondering if the stats are real or not, the feature should be hard to obtain and have a max limit. Perhaps 12000 SP for use in 3 games. Additionally, faking the number of units I have in a stack, or being able to create a large stack that does not do any damage would be mind blowing. Just as in real life, the military can use paradummies.

A nice idea but being able to fake the number of units in a stack.... Hmmm... That would completely revolutionize At-War game play lol.

Deception General Upgrade: 30000 SP. Makes your general stealth. Obviously you'll see him in battle logs, exc but this is the best bet we have to add 'deception' without having to make any hardcore modifications to the code. Since generals add +1 defense, +1 attack, +2 critical exc to units, you may never know what a true att/def of a stack is because you don't know if the general is in there or not. You also aren't aware if the other player's general is even alive or not.

I like the sound of faking stats (not all of them obviously just a 1- a few) but can't that be easily calculated by taking say how many bombers there are then x6 for attack or defense then do the same to the other units? It would take a bit of time but it can be estimated. If the stats of a stack are like a difference of 50 or 100 then you know somethings wrong. How about making a "spy" unit and hiring them to attack enemy cities, once they do they get intel on how many reinforcements the person has left in the city and switches a unit of the enemies to yours. Each spy costs say 80 and has a 10% succession rate so it isn't OP. You need 800 for it to be 100%. [Rise Of Nations inspired.]

This would be very cool. Reminds me of R.U.S.E. It'd be awesome to have some decoy offence units and fake defence units. An entire strategy based upon deception is cool, but it'd be another level if we had deception in general play. Or a combination of both. All strategies get 1 or 2 deceptions per game(or turn?) but a strategy based upon it can have an unlimited amount of them. Or perhaps different number of deceptions per strategy, like giving LB/HW more deceptions than PD/Imp. Even having a select few with deceptions and the others none would bring some balance too. SM/PD/IMP/GW with no deception points and a variable for the rest of the strategies. There's LOTS something like this can do. Game play would be dramatically changed. Only if it's possible to code of course. Of course just a strategy for it will be fine. Would be fun to play.

Would be a very interesting addition to the game. As said, it would dramatically change gameplay. If you add a setting that can turn these "deceptions" off, I would support this new addition, but lots of discussion is needed. I also thought that Fock's stealth general upgrade might be interesting to discuss.

What about a decoy unit that costs 5 it has 0 att and 0 def 1 hp it can become any unit and have the same range but its job is to make a fake big army in your city so the enemy would be to scared to attack it or defend himself. 1 reinforcement point makes 5 decoy units

Well... back in my day when I played a bit of RP when I was bored. I found a unit that basically like infantry, but it was stealth, the only catch was it had 0 range. I just think this could be a good idea if we are talking about deceptions and stuff.
