I nominate hdrakon, he is banned without any normal reason for too long, this can be something like compensation. Jewish guy is banned for spamming Anti-Semitic messages in global for 3 days, and he was not banned for 2 days........

Player of the year is meant to be based on a players contributions to the community, not their skill or in game accomplishments. Cold case and Clovis are respectable nominations due to their efforts. I havent been very active myself so cannot comment on any of the others. There may be a lot going on behind the scenes that we dont see.
