They put you into the cage and drive you to the country side and they torture you the way you have seen in the video. They skin you alive. Alright, substitute yourself for your mother, father, siblings or anyone you strongly care for. Animal cruelty isn't fun. From my point of view, sure I can't blame the Chinese since they were probably bought up not knowing what animal cruelty is. They didn't grow up with any guidelines or rules whereas to if you were living in a more western country you could understand these things. Albeit this has to stop. No one animal should suffer like this. As to Kona, I agree with you when you say that the torture thing shouldn't happen.

It is not the fear of the animal vengance (o.O) that moves me to oppose this type of repugnant human behaviour. It is "just" the simple fact that violence against helpless living creatures is disgusting and "uncivilized" and that it is the tip of the iceberg of general violence against helpless lifeforms.

@Fruit: I agree with your appretiation. People should manifest more in real life than in a virtual manner. But, like Malcom X said, "by any means necessary!"

@all: Animal cruelty is a widespread human aberration not associated to single "cultural" or "religious" settings. Chinese may eat dogs; christians eat pork (¡muslims and jews don't!) and beef (¡hindi people don't!)... and some people don't eat meat at all... in England cows are tortured with over-breeding (that generates mad cow disease), in eastern Europe geese are force-fed to have bigger livers (for a paté), in Brazil cattle is transported for 16-24 hours in a truck, in the US there are experiments (by pharma industry) on primates and other animals, etc. etc. etc.

Honestly, i dont see anything wrong in kill an animal to eat.

I dislike people that hunts for fun or just for a leather.

Video was so great I had to pause it and get popcorn. I absolutely loved the part where they showed a dog moving with no skin. That was absolutely marvelous. Two thumbs up!

Just some minor observations, since we agree on the terms:

(2) As you stated, "right" and "wrong" are socially constructed, beyond something you want to call "human nature". With your message, you just reinforced what I was saying.
(3) If "right" and "wrong" are socially constructed, then the main issue would be "how can we reach an universalization of values and principles, for instance of human rights (and animal rights also), if there is no such thing as "good" and "evil"? Is it possible?
(4) I think that it is very important to reach an universalization of basic convivial principles and its foundation is respect for the OTHER. If you calling me "retarded" is a reaction to anything I said in the previous post, so I apologize. It was never my intention to insult; just wanted to have a (constructive) discussion.

You are absolutely right about that. Teaching (¿or preaching?) will not work, if it doesn't come along with ethical practices. It's something like "walk the talk" (do what you are preaching). One has to serve as an example that people can follow or that people can look at and say "gee, he/she is right about that and that".
I agree that the heterogeneity of beliefs is the actual richness of humanity and that makes life worth to be living. Just one basic issue: how to make basic principles, that enable the very existance of humanity (as living beings), universal?

Ladies, ladies. Calm down. I like how most of you will be enraged by this video, but most of you won't do anything about it. Animals are abused and mistreated daily. No matter what you do. Yes, they are mean with the animals, but that's life. You see dogs and cats as pets, they see it as food. When you fish, you take the fish out of the water. That's torture to the fish. I don't see any of you crying over a fishing video. People kill each other daily and torture each other. Get used to it, it won't change unless everyone else does.
