Hello, I played atWar for a bit, and I got some ideas about the rooms. 1. Mute (/mute <nickname> <time> <reason>): Classic, prevents player to write something globally. (in-game) 2. Kick (/kick <reason>): We shouldn't wait 3 turns to kick someone, kicking function is useless with this rule. 3. Ban (/ban <nickname> <time> <reason>): Not needed actually, but if kicked player keeps joining, this will do. 4. Reset (/reset): Resets the game, this command will prevent remakes (rebakes, etc.). Probably will decease usage in servers. 5. Warning (/warn <nickname> <reason>): Warns the target player, if warning points reaches 2 (or 3) the player will be kicked automatically. These commands can be added to atWar's graphical user interface, also can be used by text.

1. You can do /ignore to ignore the kind of people you dont want to see their message 2. The reason why you have to wait 3 turns in order to kick inactive player in the game is to prevent misuse of game admin kicking player. For example, player 1 is winning and player 2 has the admin powers, he kick the winning player and get the win although he was losing.... 3. You can set up in advance game option "dont allow rejoining" 4. Will be nice to have 5.

Most of your opinions makes sense, especially number 4 needed in game. Looks like you got confused about number 5, there's no need for confusion to understand it. For example: if someone does bad things, this command will warn the player to prevent him/her to do it again (probably).

For this case you can use the /report command and an online moderator will help to keep the troublemaker under control

1, 2, 3 and 5 are tools available for Mods and not for all players; to avoid misuse (as pointed out by Vermeer). 1. Muting a player: this is a punishment that cannot be enforced by the "normal" users, otherwise it leads to misuse and the role of Mods then would be to review the mutes and guarantee that the "reasons" are valid reasons. With what guarantee of authenticity? What criteria? Would not be feasible as a mechanism. 2. Kick a player from a game: the current setting (kicking a player after 3+ turns inactivity) was established to avoid misuse by other players. Otherwise a winning player could be kicked from a game and the losing players would end winning the game. 3. Same logic as 1. 4. Interesting option! Needs some more thoughts to be feasible of implementation. Some discussion with Admins about its technical feasibility and its value added (or not). 5. What is the point in sending a warning? Mods do send warnings to avoid mutings and bans. Some players do accept their misbehaviour and avoid being muted and banned. Automatic kick if warnings are accumulated has the same problem as poin 1 and 3. Cheers.

Maybe these commands can trigger voting system as well, if you want to mute or kick someone, all of the players in room need to vote for it. This will remove the misuse of these commands.

Still not an option. Example:
Is this what we want? I'm sure it isn't.

Oh, right. Then looks like we decided what we want and we don't want, I think.

Being ironical or agreeing that a player that has been playing better than others deserves to win the game? Despite being a RPitA (Royal Pain in the Ass), the logic of games (and winning or not SPs) is the ability of a player to be better - in a particular game - than the opponents. Right?

All of those options except the reset one can be used by contacting a mod.

Yeah, but would probably need a unanimous vote to prevent abuse
