Sentry planes are currently regarded as useless, especially in europe 3v3 games. I suggest enabling sentry plane an ability to detect the reinforcement condition of its neighbouring cities: to check how many reinforcements left. It will in large strengthen sentry planes and make games more exciting. It also helps players make correct decisions. Take 3v3 games for instance. When UK is combating Germany, reinforcements left for a transport will always be the key of the confrontation. If sentry planes can detect the reinforcement status of cities like hamburg or netherland, it will be useful. Moreover, it also helps players decide which cities worth attacking. Finally, sentry planes may become useful, but still, not decisive. Why not make the game more tactical?

Although EU 3v3 wasn't the best example because most people wouldn't have the money to buy a sentry plane in those conditions until they are already winning

I wanna say support because it's a really cool idea but on the other hand, this would seriously ruin the "surprise factor" in games especially in the example you used above and would make games even more predictable >>> more boring :/

No support. Use logic and decisive elimination to determine the reinforcement status of Hamburg: My rival has sent a transport with 6 tanks on it, to my capital of London. Hamburg has 1 -7 reinforcements. Or, you an look at where his units moved from before your turn starts look a good goy.

I support of the concept of boosting sentry planes, no support for this particular idea this would take a factor out of the game. Considering though they cost 400 this might be reasonable.

I'm with Rouge and Tact here. I'm always pro boosting less used units, but this suggestion would take out the surprise factor, making it math based only.

Support boosting sentries. Your idea is original though I agree it might make the game less interesting. Maybe reducing cost, increasing movement or detection range (slightly) would be best.

Yeah the only way to make sentry planes competitive is to make MoS a competitive strategy in 3v3s.

hard to do, mos is already very powerful on world maps, the only way to make it more usable for 3v3s is to nerf the marine cost once again, but that has a knock on effect to world maps. you can use it in 3v3s and small maps, use it well even, but its just theres better strat choices, mos isnt really suited for close quarters combat.

MoS is played alot in 3v3's tho, and I agree with time, it will totally ruin the suprise factor and getting bored..

True. Would be neat to have a close range combat version of MoS. Kind of sucks that stealth really can't be efficient in a 3v3 map with the exception of the few countries that you can play GW.

Support. With the cost of sentry planes, though, should be about 350, could be reasonable.
