Just a suggestion, so no need to start hating or something like that.

How about making this game more ''skill based'' as alot of people complain of whether it is skill based or not, maybe just having this as an option for in game or just over-all in game?

Anyways here is my suggestion:

Example:
Infantry has 7HP, 5 Attack, 5 Deffence it gets attacked by a militia with 5HP, 3 Attack and 3 Deffense, ofcourse the Infantry is gonna win the battle, but with exactly how much HP left? As far as I know about the AW mechanics, the infantry will regain all its HP back after the battle. But what if the remaining infantry stays left with only 2HP and regains 50% of his HP every turn he survives till he is back at the original 7HP? Same goes for stacks.

Perhaps it could come in handy to have bars like this which shows the HP bar of the units just by hovering over the units, nothing to big.

This will give the gaming mechanics we all know a different twist and perhaps enjoy us all? Will make people think twice before attacking or deffending something, will take people's attention that their units with low HP might lose vs the units which could possibily have more HP left?

Just a suggestion, perhaps here and there some twigs might be needed. Perhaps we could even combine a strategy for this type of playing? But that is something that would need alot of thinking before making.

Tell me what you think about this?

Too complicated. That would turn Ethiopian-class lag into hm... probably Burundian-class.

You have to memorize 1 more information into database, 1 more thing to calculate into battle and we have like 100 games at the same time. Then you add chat spam, rep, friend list, enemy list, bla bla bla. When you summarize all those numbers it's a goddamn lag. Also if you add image like that for every unit it'll be horrible to play.

And overall, that is bad because now if we win battle by let's say 1 HP and 1 infantry, enemy can just send 1 militia and win the battle. Logic?

Well as far as I get what you mean, 1 HP left on 1 unit and 1 infantry? Which makes this 2 units. The militia has then a 99% change of winning the 1 HP unit, but not so much % change of winning the Infantry after that too. It all depends what kind of unit the 1 HP unit was? Tank? Infantry? Bomber? Militia?

And as far the logic side, Almost every online game including troops like AW has, has this kind of HP bars system, you have to remember that this brings a new style of gameplay, deffending your units, trying to heal your units to a good amount of HP before attacking etc.

AtWar isn't like every other game. That's why we play it. If you add that shit for HP restoration it'll become pay to win soon so you can heal your units faster... and such shit. No thanks.

Where did you even see me saying all these things? And as far as I know, this game is already partly pay2win. Now please, don't go off-topic or whatever clovis has thought you, just keep it based on this topic or dont reply at all. Thanks.

Read my post under it. I explained it in the fewest words for unexperienced. Adding 1 more calculation into all battles of all games, also 1 more information for all battles into database and then adding images for it? Considering how many games we have it'd produce horrible lag -- images really do waste bandwidth and by this proposal we should have 1 for all units.

Just no, adding 1 line of code should NEVER cause a lag of any sort. If thats the case then admins must do something about it.

Why not 1 line of code, just maintain the hp of units after end of battle. Everything else will be calculated the same...

To do that you need to calculate it and storage it in database, at least 2 lines of code. Also even if it's that simple it still makes no sense to change that, it is too minor to be implemented (matters only on 1 unit) and basically useless overall. In any bigger battle it will make no effect at all.

Yes, you need to store numbers in database, not much data, also I never said it should be implemented, it would be way harder to play then i think
