No Kosovo - No Russian Crimea.

bla...

No Kosovo - No Russian Crimea!
What? Weren't basic human rights for Serbs in Kosovo violated? They don't deserve to be a country. And they are a country for the wrong reason. Crimea became Russian because their own rights were violated since most of Crimea speaks Russian. In fact, Russian is spoken a lot in Ukraine. They want to speak Russian but Kiev banned it. Tell me why Ukraine likes the cuurent government now.

The way I see it: The parties involved (Ukraine, Crimea, Russia, NATO, and EU) have a varying degree of recognition of Crimea, as well as the UN obviously not recognizing it yet. Until a majority recognizes it's sovereignty as a Republic of the Russian Federation (Or whatever it decides to be), there should be absolutely no changes to the world map. For now, just make an alt. version of the world map with Crimea on it, until this situation has been settled and a majority decision can be made. (I know, Crimeans want to be Ukrainian, but there are still diplomatic processes that must be done before something like this can be safely made by the Admins without receiving death threats, like they did from Kosovo).

Crimea is NOT part of Russia no matter how many votes they had. That was an illegal poll.

According to your logic, Kosovo isn't a country then. Do you support Kosovo?

In Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, NYC, USA there is a large Russian-speaking community.
Many of the Russian speakers are Ukrainian or from Central Asia, but the Russian language is very common.

Will Putin come to Brooklyn next?

Brighton Beach is less hipstery than much of BKLN, so maybe Putin will keep his shirt on.
