Well i guess eastern europe, balkans, baltics can now built a fence and force people to stay in their own country cant they? Why would the balkans, eastern europe and baltics even have open borders and allow their citizens to go work in the west?

you are not capable of understanding any argument. What I wrote in response to anti-communist propaganda has nothing to do with what you're trying to ask. The main defensive position is not the westward departure of German workers. As I said, you don't have the capacity to analyze it either.

Between 1945 and the berlin wall , 3.5 million east germans migrated to west germany. Thats a fact and none of them traveled in the evenings back to east germany.
In any case, the overall population of east germany only decreased, this just proofs this point.

These are facts nobody can deny, whether u like them or not. 3.5 million was like 20-25% of total east german population. Newsflash they didnt come back to east germany. And it is escaping east germany, be it economics or political doesnt matter, they left. Berlin wall and the stricter laws came because GDR didnt want its population to shrink even more. While the GDR implements complete closed borders etc. The west were applying open border policy for themselves, you had refuseniks in the USSR. We live in 2021 and communism fell in 1991, deal with it.

The bottom line is that East Germany was a poverty-filled shithole due to communist policies. You can make all of the justifications you want, but the facts is that no one in their right mind would live in a communist society over a capitalist country.
