-cons impossible to write an AI that can determine strategic variables of a real person on atwars budget and staff. Im tired of this arguement from people who have no idea how coding works or the amount of algorithms required to make an ai that even plays at a rank 3 level.

Im france ai is germany, which countries should the ai choose to attack? Ok i rushed full austria the ai took denmark czech and belgium, what countries does the ai choose to take next? And that is two turns in games that sometimes go 60 turns....

A dumb ai just breeds dumb players. If it cant compete with semi competent players like me its a waste of time.

Would help with creating unique scenarios where you want to use another force that joins late game or can be PVE while PVP at the same time. contributes to AW experience IMO.

We have like usually 30 players in lobby in normal european time.
I can´t stay up all night to wait for some yankees, cuz i have a life.
So yes i prefer to play with bots instead of no games.
Also you don´t have to use this feature when you don´t like it.
Simple bots won´t need much ressources so no problem.

No such thing as a simple ai for explain to me how you expect them to defend cities, wall cities, target stack on a gridless map, choose which cities to target. It just dont add up bro.

I hear there is a new programming language called HTML and once you learn it you can make any AI you want in just 3 lines of code. I'll get right on it.

Okay seriously now, I would love to add an AI and someday I probably will, but it's a lot of work and there are other things that need my attention right now.

I must agree Ai on worldmap would make no sense (those games are easy to fill anyway)
But I think Ai could work for some scenarios (less complicated moves than on worldmap)

Ok, rome political, im gual, ais northern rome, where does he move? Same arguement, unless a map is entirely scripted like war to end all wars, and the ai can make the exact same scripted moves every game it is indeed useless.

But #3 is the real reason this isn't happening right now.


I know python too but i meant python + 'tensorflow/pytorch' in short machine learning part of it, I just assumed you don't know because it's SO DARN hard. but yeah given enough motivation any decent developer would learn it on the way and write the functionality, but still alone it will take too much time
